The short version

  • Use the site fairly and don't try to break it.
  • Labs Live prototypes are rough previews, not offers or finished work.
  • The Six Gallery concepts belong to Six. Look all you like, but don't copy them.
  • Paid work is covered by its own written agreement, not by these terms.
  • Six Days is for deciding what we build. When the finished work is delivered depends on the project, and we tell you that date in writing.
  • Questions: hello@sixuniversal.com.

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website, run by Six Universal ("Six", "we", "us"), a business established in Williamsburg, Virginia, United States, with operations in Ghana. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who can use the site

You must be at least 13 to create an account or join the email list. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Six will never ask you for your password or a sign-in code.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that are used to break these terms or the law.

Using the site fairly

Please don't:

  • try to get into parts of the site, accounts or systems that aren't yours;
  • test the site's security, scan it or probe it without our written permission;
  • overload the site, scrape it, or copy it with automated tools;
  • send spam, harmful code, or anything unlawful, abusive or misleading through our forms.

Six Labs Live

Six Labs Live builds a rough, automatic preview from a few words. It's a starting point for a conversation, not a quote, an offer, or finished work, and it may not be accurate.

Your idea stays yours. If you save it or send it to us, you allow us to store it and use it to reply to you and discuss your project.

The Six Gallery

The Six Gallery shows concept websites created by Six to demonstrate what we can build. The businesses, names and content in them are fictional, not real clients.

The concepts, their design and their code belong to Six. You may view them on this site, but you may not copy, download, screenshot for reuse, reproduce or adapt them without our written permission. "Build me something like this" sends us a request; it isn't a purchase.

Six Games

The games are free and just for fun. Scores are saved in your browser, or in your account if you're signed in, and may occasionally be reset.

Projects and services

Information about Six Labs, Six Shield, Six Studios, Six Days and Got Your Six describes how we work. It isn't an offer you can accept on this site. Any project is covered by a separate written agreement that sets out the scope, timeline, price and other terms, and that agreement takes priority over anything on this site.

Six Days and delivery times

Six Days is the first stage of a project. In those six days we work with you to shape the idea, show you an early version and agree on the final direction: the look, the features and what the finished work must include.

Six Days is not a promise that the finished work will be delivered or fully running on day six. Every project is different. The time it takes to build, test and launch depends on what you ask us to make, how large and complex it is, and how quickly we receive the content, feedback and approvals we need from you.

Once the direction is agreed, we will give you an estimated delivery date in writing, based on what you have asked us to build. If the scope changes, or something outside our control affects the work, we will tell you as soon as we can and agree a new date with you. The finished work is handed over when it is complete and on the terms set out in your project agreement.

What belongs to Six

The Six Universal name, the logo, and this site's design, text, code, 3D scenes, games and gallery concepts belong to Six and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these terms gives you a right to use them, except to view the site normally.

Links to other sites

The site links to other services, such as social media pages. We're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep the site accurate and running, but it's provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Six isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this website, and our total liability for anything related to the website is limited to US$100. Nothing here limits responsibility that can't be limited by law.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections the law where you live gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
